Violets

Violets is available as a giclee print in a limited edition of 75, printed with Epson Ultrachrome Pro 10 (pigment based) ink on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Photo Rag Paper.

The original was created in watercolor and ink on Canson colored paper for The Dress Doctor, an adaptation of Hollywood costume designer Edith Head's book of "prescriptions for style" published in 2008 by Harper Collins. The illustration shows 17 young woman wearing very similar dresses to their prom, copied from the wildly popular dress Head created for Elizabeth Taylor for the film A Place in the Sun.

This print is created exclusively by Bil Donovan Limited and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Bil has signed his surname in ink to the front of the print and numbered, titled, dated and signed his name to the reverse.

This edition is comprised of: One artist proof; 25 prints measuring 17" x 22"; 25 prints measuring 13" x 19” and 25 prints measuring 11" x 17". When the entire edition has sold out this print will no longer be available.
